In 2011, Swain & Associates acquired approximately 125 acres at the intersection of Gordon Road and I-40. After selling 85 acres to New Hanover County for the enlargement of Smith Creek Park, Swain teamed up with Hawthorne Residential Partners and Evolve

Construction to develop a 318-unit, Class A apartment community. The project was delivered to the market in Q4 2020 and achieved full lease-up in Q2 2021.
